September 2025:

Wow it’s been a long time since an update! Here’s some highlights from the Reh Lab:

Welcome New Lab Members! A warm welcome to our new postdocs Josh, Evelyn, and Bindia! We also have a new MD-PhD student, Brennan, and lab tech, Ashlyn!

Goodbye Old Lab Members! Goodbye to Abby and Sierra! Sierra is starting a Masters of Public Health at Columbia University, and Abby moved to Ohio to work in an ophthalmology clinic and study for Med School. Congratulations to our undergraduates Gracious and Kayla who have since graduated as well.

Awards: Congratulations to Josh for receiving a Vision Training Grant and Evelyn for receiving an ISCRM fellowship!

Papers: Marina and Kiara have recently submitted papers! Check out the preprints below, and check out the publications page for other more from the Reh lab.

December 2021:

Congratulations to Akshaya Sridhar and Marcus Hooper on their new positions at Genentech and the Allen Institute! We will miss you!

October 2021:

Check out our new paper “Efficient stimulation of retinal regeneration from Müller glia in adult mice using combinations of proneural bHLH transcription factors” in Cell Reports. We test new BHLH factors to see a greater diversity of fates in reprogrammed cells, as well as greater reprogramming efficiency. For an overview of the paper check out our press release, linked here.

September 2021:

Congratulations to Alex for starting graduate school at UC Berkeley! We will miss you.
